Endolimax
nana trophozoite The average range of the E. nana trophozoites is 8-10 mm. The single nucleus in stain preparations shows a large irregular shaped karyosome not usually fragmented, but may appear as a narrow band against one side of the nuclear membrane. |

nana cyst The cysts of E. nana are small (5-10 mm) with a spherical to ellipsoidal shape. Three of the four nuclei are visible in this cyst. |
